A drive to Margao takes you to the colourful city market. You can buy souvenirs and knickknacks and experience Goa in another form. If you want to have a local Goan train experience, then visit the Margao Railway station and go on a local train ride to Sanvordem. You can experience local culture, cuisine, and bond with the local people. As you wind up, take a walk down the countryside and along the railway track and experience something that you have never experienced or seen before.

And then you are taken to the Palacio do Deao where a hospitable host awaits you in Quepem to give you a tour of his two-century-old home. The Palacio do Deao in Goa is over 200 years and counting. Legend has it that a Portuguese Nobleman, who was the Dean of the church and the founder of Quepem town, built this house in an unusual style of architecture, uniquely blending Hindu and Portuguese cultures and tradition.

After you have taken a tour of this beautiful mansion, enjoy a delicious Goan lunch (cooked by the host family) and then you head back to the hotel.

Note: This tour can also be done without the train journey, (without train we shall visit Margao city, Menezes Braganza house and Palacio de Deao & Chandranath Temple).

Timings:

• Duration with train 9am to 3pm & without train 10:30 to 5:00
• Pick up schedule will be given at the time of booking, depending on the location of your hotel or place of stay.
